I was correct about most of my predictions. So, Carlos Alcaraz won, and so did Iga Swiatek. But the way that Carlos Alcaraz won was very unexpected. He didn't just win 3 games in a row. Not 4, but 5 games in a row, while 3 of them weren't even his service games. And then, as if that was not enough, Jannik Sinner had to retire due to illness. So we did not get the full final that we were hoping for, but I do hope that Sinner will be able to pull through and hold his title at the US Open. On the women's side, though, we got a full final with Swiatek winning 7-5, 6-4. But, although we didn't get the full men's final, we did get an amazing women's final.
