Is a significant change going to happen in the men's rankings by the end of this season? Well, maybe. This is because Jannik Sinner has been number one since June 2024. But his streak may end now. I say this because Carlos Alcaraz barely has any points to defend in Cincinnati or even the US Open. Meanwhile, Sinner has to defend his title points in Cincinnati and the US Open. This could be a significant opportunity for Alcaraz because if he manages to win both of those, the roles will be reversed with Alcaraz being at the top this time around. But, sadly, only time will tell us if Alcaraz will jump over Sinner.
